“Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.”
– Arthur Ashe
It’s tempting to get carried away by the promise of a completed goal. You want that fitter body, that bigger business, and that published book in your hands – NOW!
The better advantage is to resist the temptation to be impatient. Success is a process, NOT a race.
Instead, keep focused on the step directly in front of you. This means:
- Doubling-down on the right things
- Taking focused action daily
- And KEEP SHOWING UP!
Focus on the daily actions not the end result. The result will come IF you put in the work on a CONSISTENT basis.
All these factors build momentum to carry you over the finish line. It’s how you can make your success inevitable.
Ironically, this mentality was so much a part of who Kobe Bryant was. With his passing this weekend, everyone across the world are reflecting on his die-hard and committed success strategy. He showed up every-single-day and did the work all the while focusing on his actions while striving for the ultimate success.
So cheers to this week of doubling down and focusing on your process, one step of action at a time. Go Team!
